How Sweet Art Bake Shop was Whipped Up…
This business was actually just a happy accident. I never intended to start a cake business. I made a cake for a friend’s birthday in March of 2013 and posted a picture of it on Facebook. When I posted that picture, people saw it, loved it, and orders starting rolling in. Each time I would post pictures of new cakes, I got more orders. I was completely shocked that people were brave enough to trust me to make their cakes for their important weddings and events. As my clients’ confidence grew in me, something sparked me to start feeling that same confidence in myself. I suddenly fell in love with cake design. I felt like I had found my calling and finally figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up. Making cakes and sweets has become something that I am completly passionate about. Our business has now grown so much that we are now booked solid months in advance. We have been featured on countless wedding websites, featured in bridal magazines, been on KTLA news, and we have been nominated for the Best Wedding Cake Bakery by California Wedding Day Magazine 4 years in a row.
