Family Medicine Addiction Medicine
Dr. Walter Thomas was born in South Africa and graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1973, where he received his degree as a Doctor of Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine and board certified in Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Thomas successfully passed the first certification offered in the United States in Addiction Medicine.
